Book Review: The Beach House by James Patterson and Peter de Jonge

Jack Mullen is a Columbia law student who is enjoying a summer internship at a prestigious Boston law firm. His life is perfect until he receives devastating news: his younger brother, Peter, has drowned in a tragic accident at the beach.

Jack is convinced that Peter's death was no accident, but the police and the wealthy residents of the Hamptons, where Peter was working as a valet, are quick to dismiss him. Determined to uncover the truth, Jack embarks on his own investigation.

As Jack digs deeper, he uncovers a web of corruption and deceit that reaches to the highest levels of power. He also discovers that Peter was involved in a secret relationship with one of the Hamptons' elite, and that their affair may have been the catalyst for his death.

Jack is soon plunged into a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse, as he races against time to expose the truth and bring his brother's killer to justice.
